Fighting State Farm on being denied a home coverage claim - frozen pipe. Do I have a case?

We have a home that has been on the market for some time. It is vacant and sometime between 12/10/20 and 1/11/21 we had an exobinate amount of water come down from an upstairs bathroom where an interal pipe evidently froze. We have provided to State Farm our utility bills that does show the power (gas) being off, yet the average temperature from the utility company states that the average was 40 degrees in that month. Its an older home and two plumbers commented that the pipes were old and that it was bound to happen sooner vs later. 

I'm trying to get a daily usage of water to pinpoint the date and compare that to the weather. 

State Farm has denied our claim - I feel that is why we have insurance. To cover accidents like this. I can provide the utility bills as well as the water bills showing the increase in water usage. I can send you thier denial letter and all the other paperwork I have.
